Laurie L. Boyd is an artist and songwriter from Paw Paw, MI.  She composes and sings raw and intimate songs inspired by her own personal praise and worship times.  She has recently formed Door of Hope, a collective of worship leaders as session musicians and worship band.  In October 2017, they will be releasing the highly anticipated live worship album entitled "Songs of Deliverance", which she describes in her own words as "An organic and cage-free live worship project featuring liberating original songs that chronicle our raw and intimate journey back to our place of hope and truth in Christ: freedom indeed!"

Laurie felt the call of God to ministry and to ministry of music in her early twenties, when she began composing hymns.  Among friends and family, Laurie has released 5 albums of original instrumental worship music, some to be released publicly in the near future.  Her style is noted for shifting atmospheres and bringing inspiration and peace.

Laurie has served on several different worship teams in her career, both as member and as worship leader.  She leads worship in her own ministry, Dwelling Place Ministries International [co-led by her husband Rick] and is on the praise team at Greater Faith Empowerment Center in Portage, MI. She has also had the privilege of leading worship at conferences in Beersheva, Israel, Wales, and Webuye, Kenya.
